Woodmont Youth
6th-12th Grade
Did you know that from the time a student enters the 6th grade until they graduate from High School adds up to only 84 months?
When you share that with parents, their usual reaction is... I can’t believe how short of a time that really is. Youth would probably say that sounds like forever!

Regardless of how you react, 84 months is not very long when you consider all that happens during that time frame. Students jump into middle school, discover the challenges of juggling a busy schedule, start to think about dating, get their drivers’ license, and even begin to decide what they want to do for a career.

With so many voices calling out to teenagers today, we feel that it is important to have a safe harbor for students to grow in their faith, treasure God’s word in their hearts, find ways to use their gifts and talents for service in God’s kingdom, and to find a place that is welcoming to all!
In our Student Ministry, we have weekly Bible studies on Sunday morning for both high school and middle school. We plan mission and service trips in the summer, and we offer times of worship and discipleship for students of all ages. During the summer, we offer special studies and activities that help build our fellowship and grow our group.
Our Mission:
We exist to make next generation disciples who make disciples. We long to see a generation of believers who have been transformed by the Gospel for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.
3 Vital Stages of discipleship:
Hearing the Gospel (Rom. 10:17)
Embracing the Gospel (Rom. 6)
Sharing the Gospel (Matt. 28:19-20)
We view these three stages as parts of a circle. Students are in at least one of those stages at a time. As a student hears the Gospel, they learn to embrace it, and as they embrace it, they begin to share it. As they share it, they (and those around them) get to hear it. Our events/ programming/ discipleship efforts go towards helping students in each of these stages.
