COVID POLICIES

Under the guidance of the Coronavirus Advisory Team, Woodmont currently has a mask optional policy for adults. With a recent decline in the number of COVID cases in our community, we believe requiring masks is no longer necessary, with the understanding that we will consider reinstating them if conditions of the pandemic change.

We still recommend staying home if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, getting tested for cold symptoms, practicing social distancing as able, using good ventilation, and performing good handwashing to help prevent the spread of infections among our congregation.

Masks Optional:

  • Adults have the option to wear a mask or not in the building.

  • Exception: Masking is required for all persons in the balcony.

Masks Recommended:

  • If an individual feels more comfortable wearing one.

  • If there is a vulnerable person in the household, e.g. a family member who is immune compromised or ineligible for COVID-19 vaccination, or otherwise at high risk for complications of COVID infection.

Masks Required for public health:

    • Day 6-10 after having a known COVID infection, provided symptoms are improving. (Stay in isolation days 1-5).

    • After an exposure to a person with known COVID infection, those who are not vaccinated should stay home to quarantine for 5 days, get tested, and wear a mask in the building for an additional 5 days.

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,

    and establish the work of our hands upon us;

     yes, establish the work of our hands!” - Psalm 90:17
