Worshiping God through song is the heart of the Music Ministry of woodmont. We seek to inspire and teach all ages to experience the privilege of worship through the gift of music.    We seek to honor God with the unique blending of voices, organ, piano, and a variety of instrumentalists. It is our desire that all persons, regardless of age or musical background, find a place to “Sing and Serve” at Woodmont. Worship Choir

The Worship Choir of Woodmont has been the "back drop" for our televised Sunday Morning Service,  providing a portrait of the New Testament Church, unified in the purpose of praise and worship of God.  The choir, under the direction of Richard Dickerson, has been devoted to excellence in all things in presenting of the gospel through choral music.  Our choir is comprised of volunteers who give of their talents and gifts in service to our Lord and the church.  The Worship Choir rehearses every Wednesday Evening at 6:15 p.m.

The JOY Choir provides fellowship and music ministry opportunities for those qualifying themselves as "senior adults." They have presented musical programs at assisted living centers, community events, and for their monthly luncheons. They occasionally sing in Sunday worship and have sung for Senior Adult Conferences in Ridgecrest, NC. Those who participate in this choir enjoy sharing life together during the weekly meetings and singing a variety of music such as older hymns, toe-tapping gospel music, and traditional hymns. The JOY Choir meets on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. This group is under the direction of Richard Dickerson and is accompanied by Lisa Johnson.
